building a budget
Do budgets give you headaches? Have you tried dozens of templates but still don't understand where all the numbers really come from? Are you trying to create a budget for a grant and have absolutely no idea where to start? Then this workshop is for you.
Part of Bygone Theatre's free workshop series, this workshop will be produced in-person at The Bridge and streamed live online for people to participant from home. Run by Bygone's Emily Dix and Conor Fitzgerald, they will breakdown things like:
1. how to research costs
2. how to track receipts
3. how to build a budget in Excel or Google Sheets
4. how to reconcile accounts when it's all over
Using a mock budget, they will walk through the process start to finish. Participants are encouraged to follow along on their own devices either with the sample budget, or filling in their own.
