ABOUT

The office lounge returns to life after Casey (Liam Armstrong) fixes the lights, but he’s not alone. Nick (Andrew Easterling) and Tim (Michael Manning) are there too, and coincidentally up for the same promotion to be announced at the end of the long weekend. The problem? There’s no way out and it’s only Friday. Desperate to free themselves, the men quickly devolve into chaos, turning on each other and themselves as it soon becomes clear that the sanest of the group might be the boss’ pet goldfish. An absurdist blend of corporate carnage and the grief of staying hopeful, Inhuman Resources proves that no matter how hopeless things may seem, we always have a choice.

Emily Dix - Bygone Theatre | The Rear Window

Emily Dix - BYGONE THEATRE PRODUCER

Emily is the Artistic Executive Director of Bygone Theatre.

Michael Manning - TIM

Michael Manning is a Toronto based actor, director, dramaturge, and playwright. He is a graduate of George Brown’s Theatre Arts Performance Program and the University of Toronto where he was a recipient of the Dr. David E. Gardener Apprentice Director Program. Since graduation Michael has been working with fellow GBTS grads Aly MacFarlane and Sophie Oldford (as ‘Bar Team Theatre’) as the writer and director on two original plays (Gin and Sin and A Murder Most Proper), as well as a performer and dramaturge on an adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Michael will also be directing a new adaptation of As You Like It for Bar Team Theatre in December.

Liam Armstrong - CASEY

Liam Armstrong is a multidisciplinary Canadian artist. He graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where he finished as a member of the 2016 - 2017 New York Academy Company as well as St. John’s University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Television and Film. Past credits include: Demetrius, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Brampton’s Own Shakespeare Show); Kurt, Asking for a Friend (Davis Shakespeare Festival); and Actor, The Laramie Project (Wandering Theatre Company). He recently co-wrote and directed Does the Necromancer Have to Report His Minions to the CRA? which premiered at the 2025 Ottawa Fringe Festival.
