ABOUT
When the princesses Rosalind (Micaela Morey) and Celia (Julia Mitin) are banished by the new Duke they decide to follow after the previous Duke, Rosalind’s exiled father, and journey into the Forest of Arden. Comedy ensues when Rosalind, disguised as a man, becomes entangled in the lives of her romantic interest Orlando (Kieran Jensen), his estranged brother Oliver (Eoin Leahy), the lovelorn shepherds Silvius (Tessa Rusgnak) and Phoebe (Aisha El Shennaway), her father’s court fool Touchstone (Parsa Hassanzadeh) and the melancholy poet Jaques (Sophie Oldford).

Kieran Jensen - Orlando
Kieran (he/him) is an emerging artist, originally from Sudbury, Ontario. Kieran grew up among Sudbury’s vibrant theatre community, having worked on countless productions in roles big and small. He graduated from George Brown Theatre School in April 2025. Credits include: Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (YES Theatre), Levin in Anna Karenina; Doc Trotter in The Amazing Cordobas; Capulet in Romeo and Juliet; Ivona, Princess of Burgundy (George Brown Theatre School), The Case of the Missing A.Y. Jackson; Dickens’ A Christmas Carol; A Christmas Story (Sudbury Theatre Centre), and a virtual reading of New Normal (PlaySmelter). He also narrated the audiobook for Surviving Stutthof, a biography of his grandfather’s experiences in a concentration camp, written by his mother Liisa Kovala.

Micaela Morey - Rosalind
Micaela is an actor, songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Toronto, ON. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Theatre Performance from George Brown College. She is a reed doubler (specializing in Saxophone, Clarinet, and Flute), and has played as a pit orchestra musician for a number of professional theatre companies across Ontario. She is absolutely thrilled to be making her Bar Team Theatre debut in her number one dream role, Rosalind! Notable acting credits include:

Parsa Hassanzadeh - Touchstone and Others
Parsa is an Iranian-Canadian actor and a recent graduate of George Brown Theatre School. Over the past years at the theatre school, he had the opportunity to grow as an artist. He developed a passion for Clown, Physical Theatre, and Shakespeare during his time at George Brown. Julia Mitin - Celia
Julia is a Toronto based artist and Comedian originally from Edmonton Alberta (Home of the West Edmonton Mall the biggest mall in North America). She’s a graduate of the George Brown theatre school class of 2024, and is excited to be doing her third show with Bar Team Theatre alongside some dear former classmates and new friends. Julia is currently working on her one woman show, and you can find her on Instagram @juliamitin for musings and laments alike. She can’t wait to act a fool for you, and hopes that all your dreams come true!
Tessa Rusgnak - Silvius and Others
Tessa is an actor, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist with a background in theatre and music. They hold a diploma in Theatre Performance from George Brown College and are passionate about creative, collaborative work on and off the stage. Tessa plays a range of instruments, including ukulele, guitar, bass guitar, and melodica, and enjoys blending music and storytelling in their performances. They’ve been involved in a variety of productions in Toronto and Northern Ontario, including performing in the pit band for The Calling (Makeshift Company) and appearing as both actor and musician in Bad Hats Peter Pan at YES Theatre. They have also composed original music for productions at George Brown College, as well as for their band, Shuffle Puppy, and solo project, Tessela.
Tessa is especially excited to be stepping back into classical theatre in As You Like It alongside colleagues and dear friends from school. It means a great deal to them to create meaningful art the people they love most.

Aisha Shennawy - Pheobe & Others
Aisha is an Egyptian-Canadian actress born in Montreal and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. While studying at the Azrieli School of Architecture in Ottawa, she began a passionate pursuit of acting. She continued her education at the prestigious George Brown Theatre School, where she was nominated for the Hnatyshyn Emerging Artists Award. She now lives and works in Toronto, Ontario. Eōin J Leahy - Oliver & Others
Eōin (he/him) is a Canadian-Indian actor, writer, & director born in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. He studied Theatre Performance with the George Brown Theatre School class of 2022, where he performed in productions such as Cymbeline, Per Gint, & An African Cargo. He has since gone on to work in TV and film, appearing in shows such as The Way Home (Hallmark Channel) and The Z Suite (Tubi). Eoin is also the founder of the indie production team September Studios & Productions, writing and directing the machinima web-series Stranded, and has produced short films such as Lady Sienna and Jojo’s Bizarre Birthday for the 48 Hour Film Festival. He lives and works in Toronto, ON.

Michael Manning - Director, Producer, Adapter
Michael Manning is a Toronto based actor, director, dramaturge, and playwright. He is a graduate of George Brown’s Theatre Arts Performance Program and the University of Toronto where he was a recipient of the Dr. David E. Gardener Apprentice Director Program. Since graduation Michael has been working with fellow GBTS grads Aly MacFarlane and Sophie Oldford (as ‘Bar Team Theatre’) as the writer and director on two original plays (Gin and Sin and A Murder Most Proper), as well as a performer and dramaturge on an adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Sophie Oldford - Jaques & Others / Co-Producer & Co-Director
Sophie (She/Her), is a Toronto based Producer, Performing Artist and Photographer. Sophie has newfie roots and has spent her life between the United States and Canada, gaining her a broad perspective of culture and art around the world. Since graduating ‘George Brown Theatre School’ in 2024, Sophie has spent her time founding Barteam Theatre, producing and creating original shows and performing as much as possible. Sophie loves photography, dancing and singing and hopes to bring all her favourite artistic pursuits together to create local theatre! Sophie is so excited to be among her college alumnae for a new rendition of “As you Like it”.

Aly MacFarlane - Co-Producer & Choreographer
Aly MacFarlane is a triple threat performer and emerging choreographer from Milton Ontario. MacFarlane is a graduate of the Etobicoke School of the Arts where she was a member of the award-winning show choir “Splash”, and dance company “DancESAtion” and then went on to graduate from George Brown Theatre School in 2023. Aly is thrilled to be back producing work with BarTeam Theatre and hopes you enjoy this show as much as she does! Previous credits include;
